Squirrel Boss

While browsing a catalog for Christmas gifts, I came across the Squirrel Boss Bird Feeder. I haven't yet decided who I'm going to give it to. Apparently it is "the unique brainchild of an aerospace professional" who loves both birds and squirrels and wanted a safe and effective way to keep squirrels off the bird feeder. It "electronically conditions" the squirrels. A remote control allows you to deliver a static shock to the squirrel "from the comfort of your home."

If Moo-moo were still alive, I think it would be the perfect gift for her. I can picture her sitting at the dining room table, watching the bird feeder from the window, and electrocuting squirrels. Humanely, of course.
